Saqqara

The step pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara is almost 5,000 years old! It’s the oldest stone pyramid in Egypt.

Mom let me ride a donkey. She said I can ride a camel next time.

We went into Unas’ pyramid. Take a close look at the hieroglyph on the left - Dad said Mom’s ancestors must have been here - it’s a frog!

Next, we went to Memphis.

We went into the tomb of Horemheb to look at the stone tablets. And a nice tourist policeman let me pet his camel.
